- Is Towndom free?
- Yes, entirely. You start with €2,000 in fictional money, no card required. In-app purchases are cosmetic or a comfort (no-ads pass), never required to play or progress.
- Is there any risk of losing real money?
- None. The in-game currency is fictional from start to finish: nothing to stake, nothing to withdraw, nothing to convert into real money. See the terms of use.
- How do I become a town’s mayor?
- Hold the most shares of that town. Every town page shows how many shares you still need to take the sash. In a tie, whoever has held it longest stays mayor.
- Why did a town’s price move?
- Tap “Why did it move?” on the town page: every move is explained by the real events that caused it (a strike, a match, the weather…), with its source and freshness.
- What is a Flair prediction?
- A quick question that opens a few minutes after an event (“Will Lyon drop more than 1% in the next 30 minutes?”). You answer yes or no, resolved automatically by the server’s real price. It earns XP, never €.
- What’s the daily chest?
- A daily bonus in € and XP that grows over 7 days if you come back every day, and resets if you skip one. An optional ad can double it.
- I can’t find my town.
- Search by name, department, or postal code in the Towns tab. Some very small towns may show “Watch only” if the available data is still too thin.
- How do leagues work?
- Each week you’re in a league of 30 players ranked by % gain. Six divisions, from Bronze to Legend. On Sunday at 11:59pm (Paris time), the top 7 promote and the bottom 5 relegate.
- Can I play without ads?
- Yes. Ads are always optional and rewarded; you can also buy the no-ads pass, which removes ad offers without changing your free rewards.
- When are Belgium and Germany coming?
- Soon: their boards are in preparation. France is fully playable today, with all 35,000 of its towns.
- How do I delete my data?
- Write to us with your in-game nickname: see the privacy policy for what the server keeps and how to get it deleted.
